Suraj Narayan Titanwala is a 4th generation block printer, learning the trade from his father Govind Narain. His wife and son are also experienced artisans. Together they have created a dynamic family business firmly rooted in local heritage. Suraj Narayan Titanwala practices the traditional approach of block printing, maintaining the quality and exclusivity of the product. Some of their raw materials include an interesting array of jaggery, pomegranate rind, scrap horseshoe, madder root, indigo, and turmeric.

The legacy of block printing in a rural set up is preserved by Suraj Narayan Titawala who has taken initiatives. Due to limited natural resources and labour issues many have given up this traditional practice of block printing for more lucrative sources of livelihood.

Hence the National Award winner S. N. Titanwala has opened a museum of this specific skill set.

S. N. Titanwala from Bagru dreamt a big dream and established a unique textile museum that curate his unique collection of vintage blocks, heritage textiles and ancient vessels used in the traditional process of Hand Block Printing with natural dyes and colors.

He also offer workshops where one can get a guided tour of the space and its activities, followed by a hands-on experience of the same. One can also buy signature Bagru prints from them.
